A sturdily constructed and technically advanced machine for daylight processing of 16mm or 35mm microfilm with polyester or triacetate base.
No changing of racks. Adjustable speed/temperature ratio for optimum film density and generous rinsing and drying facilities for perfect archival qualities. The quality of the films can be assessed within minutes by means of an integral magnifying glass and light box.
FP 500 base unit
A functional base unit for the processor, complete with wash and cleaning solution tanks as well as a handy spray unit for cleaning racks and tanks.
Environment regulations are observed by separately pumping wash water and cleaning solution direct into the drainage system or into a separate container. The base unit of the FP 500 also offers the necessary storage space for everything needed during processing, such as additional spools, cassettes, etc.
FP 500 replenishment system
This is a unique replenishment system using concentrated solutions allowing continuous processing of microfilms. The replenishment system is charged with standard 5 litre containers of concentrated solution. A pump regulates the correct quantity of water. If required, used solutions may be drained separately. Replenishment only takes place when a film is being transported through the processor. Automatic controls ensure that only the correct volumes of chemicals concentrate are replenished into the appropriate tanks.
FP 500 cassette adaptor
This adaptor accepts microfilm cassettes from the D 8000 and D 9000 camera system as well as the principle optical character reader system, eliminating darkroom or additional operations.
