The HK-16 is designed for on-location 16mm microfilming where original documents cannot be removed from their source, as well as for permanently installed microfilming systems. The complete camera set comes with all the necessary accessories packed in a rugged weather-proof carrying case for easy transportation. The basic camera has an A3 copy board but there is an A2 version and, by special order, even an A1 version.
Lens
32mm f/5.6 lens assures a brilliant, sharp image. Reduction ratio is 14x – 33x on the A2 copy stand and 5x – 47x for a tripod mounting.
Shutter
Mirror shutter with five shutter speeds – 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 second for extreme flexibility. The shutter can be released with a button on the camera or with the remote control foot switch.
Frame Size
In addition to the full frame size of 15 x 21mm, there are five sizes using the format masks supplied.
Film Advance
Film feed is adjustable from 22mm to 9mm by 1mm step.
Microfilming Speed
The HK-16 can microfilm 1800 copies per hour on a 100ft roll film (manufacturer’s figures).
