A very high quality, high magnification stand microscope ideal for the accurate quality control testing of resolution charts. As defined by ANSI/AIIM Standard MS43-1998, a microscope should have a magnification of between 1/3 – 1x the number of line pairs per mm of the smallest resolved pattern read. For example: to view 150 line pairs per mm the magnification shall be between 50x and 150x therefore this 100x magnification microscope is ideal and is used by many libraries and archives. Also available is 25x, 50x and 75x magnification.
